One man is in critical, but stable, condition at the Cayman Islands Hospital after a 

Friday night there was a shooting behind a George Town liquor store. One man was taken to Cayman Islands Hospital  after suffering multiple gunshot wounds, but it is said that his condition is stable..

Police were contacted around 8.30 pm regarding a shooting around Shedden Road in the vicinity of Mary Street, George Town. Emergency services were dispatched shortly after.

Residents in the area told they heard as many as seven shots fired, from nearly half a mile away.

The RCIPS Criminal Investigations Department is leading the investigation; detectives are encouraging anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
